THANKFUL Thanksgiving

I have so much to be thankful for today and everyday! 

I am so thankful for God and knowing that he forgives me no matter the mistakes I have made! 

I am thankful for my husband who sacrifices so much for me and our two boys we are truly blessed and I hope that this is something I never take for granted!!

I am thankful for my boys, they are the light of my life and I am forever grateful that I was chosen to be their mama! 

The list could go on and on with things that I am thankful for. This year I feel as though things have been put in perspective more than years past and for whatever reason I hope that I can continue to be grateful for the things I have and always remember to count my many blessings!

Carson's Big Boy Room

I am so excited to be redoing Carson's room! I have been wanting to do something different in there for awhile, but I have ExPeNsIvE taste! So, I have left it kinda plain because I couldn't get what I wanted. Now, I have decided to do things a little at a time and eventually it will all come together (or so I hope). BIRCHBOX

I got my 2nd Birchbox over the weekend! I was so excited to see the box in the mail with the pink writing!! I love blogging and learning about new things through the "blog world"....if it weren't for the random blogs that I read I would have never discovered Birhcbox! I LOVED everything that I got in my first box, However there wasn't really anything that I really like at all in the second one. I know that every sample I receive can't be what I love or need, but I was kinda disappointed this time. Hopefully the next one will be better. I loved everything in this box, especially the Blinc mascara!

The perfume smelt really good, but other than that I didn't really like the other products.

Halloween Fun

We had so much fun this Halloween. The boys were both so excited and ready to trick-or-treat the minute they walked in the door from school. We carved pumpkins earlier in the week, but unfortunately I got no pictures of the end result.

Family Pictures

Having family pictures taken is a little bit of an obsession to me. I love looking back on pictures we have had taken over the years and seeing how much we have changed. My husband, not so much a fan of family photos! He knows that at LEAST once a year we will have some kind of pictures taken and he's just learned to deal with it : ) This Saturday (October 29) we had an appointment with a photographer to have our pictures for Christmas cards. When I made the appointment little did I know it was the day of the Georgia/Florida game (at the same time as our pictures) and apparently the best time of day for hunting...oops! Kerry was not the happiest person in the world, but he went (not that he had much of a choice ; )..)and I am so thankful that he did! Here is a preview of the pictures that we had taken.

Wine Fest

Sunday, After I ran the half-marathon I went to the Watkinsville Wine fest with my friend Mandi. There were vendors from different wineries around Georgia and also food vendors from some of my favorite restaurants in Athens. Each restaurant or winery had their "specialty" to sample (which was more like a full serving) and they gave coupons for their restaurant. We had so much fun and this was just what I needed after running 13.1 miles : )
